Haleys Prayer Letter March-April 2018

Ministry

Greetings from Belgium, God has overwhelmingly blessed our ministry these past few months. We saw the church reach a new high of about forty in attendance for our Friends and Family Day, and have managed to maintain most of those people, causing us to average about thirty people on Sunday. We were also able to reach a landmark goal of having people come to visit our church from thirty different countries, since it opened at the end of June 2017. It is an exciting thing to watch the church continually growing and we appreciate all of your prayers for this. We have added to our services, on Tuesday nights, a student Bible study; which God has been greatly using. Gent is not only a large city but it is a college city, so there is tremendous opportunity here to reach students from all over the world. We are located directly by the student dormitories, and are actually the last property before the student housing begins. We are already seeing God use this, even with it being a new ministry, as we see an average of ten students each week and are having an increase of students visiting the church for our regular services as well. Please pray for us that God would continue to bless and even grow this ministry, beyond any expectations we could have. We have also decided to reintroduce street preaching to our street ministry. We have not yet resolved the issue of if I can even get a permit. However, under the leadership of the Lord and the advice of a pastor friend who has much experience in this; we will begin again. In the summer the streets are flooded with people, pray God would open this door and keep it open to us. We have more recently, installed a large sign in the window of our church, which has much increased awareness of our church in the city, as the church is on a very busy street, please look for the pictures of the updates to the church property attached with this letter.

Personal

Like our church, our family sees no shortage of God’s blessings, and we greatly appreciate the prayers and kindness of everyone toward us. It does seem however that paper work and government documents never give a break, much less end. We are currently in the process of getting Josiah’s birth and legal documents from America and Romania, so that he can travel; please pray for this. I have also found that due to some computer issues or perhaps poorly written laws, my driver’s license will not transfer to here. This means that unless I can get this resolved, I will have to take a driving class and test here; please pray that we can get the government to transfer my license and save both time, money, and trouble.

Prayer

Pray for our church that it would continue to grow, even as we near outgrowing our building.

Pray that God would provide in His time and in a miraculous way, a larger and better property

Pray for Josiah’s legal documents, my driver’s license, and a street preaching permit.

Pray for the student ministry that God has given, and other ministries we are starting.

Pray for some ladies in our church whose husbands need to be save, pray for their salvation.

Pray for our family, that we might serve God faithfully, and raise Josiah for the Lord.

Pray that we would continue to see souls saved and believers grow.

Thank you for all of your faithful prayers for us, you are a much needed part of the ministry and will never know how much of a blessing you are to us, at least not on this side of eternity.

With Sincere Gratitude, Bro. Junior Haley
