Haley Prayer Letter January – February 2017

Ministry

It is truly exciting to say we are at the end of our deputation and praise the Lord for that. We have had a wonderful experience meeting so many of God’s people across this country but it is time for us to go home to Belgium and get to work. We were held back a little while because we had to wait on Lory’s green card to be approved by the United States or else she would have forfeited any right to come back to the U.S. without having to go through this headache again. Lory doesn’t have her greencard but we have gotten permission to travel and we have deiced by faith to purchase tickets to leave for Belgium April 4th. The only issue we might have, according to the lawyer, would be if the U.S. government decided to call us in for an interview on a date after that, so please pray that if they want an interview they schedule it before we leave or even better that they don’t require an interview at all and just issue the green card without it. We have had our departure interview and my ordination service, Macedonia had previously asked us to increase our support goal a little and even with that increase we are back over 90% of our needed support and have been approved to go to the field. We request your prayers for the rest of our support to come in, for the legal documents needed, and wisdom needed for such a move. God has a foundation for our work already laid in Gent, Belgium and we thank all of you who have been a part of this journey to get there.

Personal

I am past due in letting everyone know we have had a change in our mailing address here in the states, you can find it located to the left under our names, so please update this in your records. Upon our arrival in Gent we will still use this as our U.S. mailing address, however please pray for us as we will be looking for a more permanent place to live there than where we are currently looking to stay. Our hope is to find a property that can house us and the ministry at the same time, this is not hard to find in Gent, it is just potentially expensive. What I plan to do is find a property in need of repair or some other property we can get cheap and purchase it. I went to school to be a electrician and have built many church buildings from the ground up, my two brother in laws in Gent are skilled carpenters, and my wife and her sister have done this before so repairing a property isn’t the hard part; it is finding one we can afford so please be in prayer for God to provide this quickly. We also are praying about shipping a partial or even whole shipping container, apparently this is something the government only really allows a missionary to do once, so please pray for us in this matter as well. If we do ship a full container I will be looking to fill it with tracts and Bibles or other things useful to the ministry and would appreciate help in filling the container if anyone feels led to do so, I will update everyone on this once we see what is the best decision. Part of the decision is that if we ship a container we also have to have a place to put everything when it gets there.

Prayer

Pray for Loredana to get her green card approved without an interview

Pray for the remainder of our needed support to come in quickly

Pray for God to supply all that is needed in of moving to Belgium

Pray for me and my visa to go to Belgium, to not cause any delays

Pray for the group of believers that I preach to both in Belgium and in Romania that God would bless them and help with some housing and work related needs they have

Pray for God to provide a property that we can afford and the finances needed

Pray for the shipping container, for God to guide in this cause.

Thank you all for your continual prayers concerning myself and the ministry, you are all a blessing and a much needed part of the ministry . Most of you will never know how much of a help you are to me, at least not on this side of eternity.

With Sincere Gratitude, Bro. junior Haley
