Haleys Prayer Letter November and December 2015

Ministry

Praise the Lord for finishing the year strong with His blessings. As of January, 09th the ministry is about one church short of being at 50% support in less than six months of full time deputation. It never ceases to amaze me just how much He blesses, The only way I can reconcile how a thrice holy God can use me, is that in using someone as untalented and unimportant as me He is certain to receive all of the glory for it. It is also exciting to look at the calendar for next year and see that it is nearly full. If there are roughly 104 Sunday services in a year then I am only lacking about fifteen or less to be completely scheduled. My Wednesday nights are also quickly filling up, praise the Lord. The biggest news in the ministry that needs to be announced right now and also my largest prayer request is that on Monday, January 11th, I will be travelling to Belgium for a few weeks. While I will call this a survey trip I have chosen to pay for it using my personal funds, the last of my saving from when I was working and money received from selling my possessions. l have chosen to do this because I have taken one survey trip already and just felt that this was appropriate for this trip. I do very much covet your prayers as I go to preach and work in Ghent, Belgium and have meetings scheduled elsewhere in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Personal

The last two months were slightly more peaceful as I was able to be at home with my family and church family some for the holidays. I still managed to put probably 4,000 – 5,000 miles on my car during this time as I had the privilege to travel to Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina for a number of meetings. On a bittersweet note as some may know for the past two years I have been helping a Spanish church that had lost their pastor, I have had the blessing of watching them grow spiritually and in number. At the end of the year I preached tor them possibly for the last time, I share this thought because I had the tremendous blessing of seeing this church, that God has allowed me a small part in helping through a hard time to take me on as their first missionary.

Prayer

Before I give any prayer request let me praise the Lord that He exceeded our previous prayer request of reaching 40% be the end of the year and instead gave 45%. Now concerning the request, first I want to share that there is a lost man in Ghent, Belgium named Stefan who is in critical care and I am asking everyone I can to pray that while I am there I could Witness to Stefan and that he would be receptive.

Pray for Stefan that God would be dealing with him even before I get to see him.

Pray for God to continue to pour in the support needed and to open doors in the ministry.

Pray for my meetings scheduled both here and overseas.

Pray for the churches that are still praying about the ministry and the ones I will be going to.

Pray for the group of believers that I preach to both in Belgium and in Romania that God would bless them. Specifically pray for a few of them who are currently looking for work in Belgium.

Pray for me to be used while on this trip and for safety in travelling.

Thank you all for your continual prayers concerning myself and the ministry, you are all a blessing and a much needed part of the ministry. Most of you will never know how much of help you are to me, at least not on this side of eternity.

With Sincere Gratitude, Bro. junior Haley
